A COLLECTION OF THREE AUTOMOBILES- TOGETHER AS A COLLECTION SINCE 1976. 1955 CORVETTE, SERIAL # VE55S001001. 1956 CORVETTE, SERIAL # E56S001001. 1957 CORVETTE, SERIAL # E57S100001. NUMBER ONE IN EACH OF THE THREE SUCCESSIVE YEARS.
The 1955 Corvette Roadster is the first V8 Corvette ever built. Originally discovered in 1970 as an unrestored project by a Summerfield, North Carolina man.
Sold in 1976 to the owner of the 1956 and 1957 #001 Vettes, and this rare three car collection became reality. One of only 700 units built in 1955. This is the lowest production run in Corvette history, with the exception of the 1953 model year.
Please view the corresponding 2 ads for the other 2 pieces in this collection. This collection is already priceless, but could very well become the most valued collection in Corvette history.
