Completely rust free body. All original floors, trunk floor, quarter panels, etc. Aluminum front end. Constant maintenance and care have preserved this 17 year old restoration. Even though the exterior finish is older, it still maintains a smooth, uniform finish and mirror gloss. All chrome and stainless in great condition. Glass is in excellent condition. Fitment and gapping on all panels is very good.

Rebuilt, highly detailed engine and engine bay. Due to the racing history of these aggressive cars, very few still maintain the original block. If an original block car could be found for sale, it would probably be priced in excess of $150,000. The powerplant for this Savoy begins with a period correct 413 Cu. In. block, overbored for a total of 426 Cu. In. This engine was rebuilt with complete 1964 Max Wedge internals, crank, pistons, and rods. This configuration reduces the compression to 12.5:1 and makes the car driveable. All external components are correct 1963 Max Wedge. Correct 3447 carburetors with correct air cleaners. Early '62-'63 intake manifold with small primaries. 286 heads. Max Wedge exhaust manifolds.
Heavy duty Torque Flite transmission with 10" Coan converter. Still maintains original push button selectors, but they have been modified for the reverse manual valve body transmission. The original tapered axle Sure Grip rear differential has been replaced with a stronger Dana 60 with 4.56 gears.

Factory bench seat interior. Seats, carpet, door panels, dash, headliner, etc. all in excellent condition. The original void warranty sticker is still affixed to the glovebox door.

Highly restored and detailed undercarriage. Slight flaking of floorboard paint just above the exhaust. Driveshaft loop added.

Nicely restored and detailed trunk area. Stock inner wheel tubs. The original factory battery tray is still in the trunk.

Raced when purchased new. Raced in 1977 and 1978. Put in storage until 1991, when it was completely restored. After the restoration, this Max Wedge was briefly campaigned with the Nostalgia Super Stock Association. Since that time, babied and street driven on special occasions.

This is a rare opportunity to own one of the rarest Mopars on the planet.
