1972 FORD MUSTANG SHOW CAR!
1972 FORD MUSTANG COUPE. FORMER SHOW CAR THAT HAS BEEN NOW RETIRED. STILL NICE ENOUGH FOR YOUR OUTDOOR TYPE SHOWS. ALSO AN EXCELLENT CAR TO TAKE TO CRUISES. 94,754 MILES SHOWING ON THE ODOMETER. THIS CAR WAS WELL MAINTAINED AND IS DEPENDABLE ENOUGH TO DRIVE ANYWHERE. STARTS RIGHT UP. RUNS AS IT SHOULD. TRANSMISSION IS TIGHT. IT DRIVES STRAIGHT, DOESN'T PULL TO LEFT OR RIGHT. RUNS COOL, DOES NOT OVERHEAT. THE BUY IT NOW IS WELL UNDER THE MONEY INVESTED IN THIS CLASSIC. THIS MUSTANG WOULD BE A NICE ADDITION TO ANY COLLECTION.
Exterior was refinished a few years ago in Dark Blue Metallic base coat/ clear coat. Paint is in excellent condition, with a few minor chips from driving. Black vinyl top in very good condition. Mach I wing on rear deck lid. Almost new Dayton Daytona SP radial tires- P215/70R14. Mounted on steel wheels with Ford hubcaps and trim rings. Tinted glass is all in great condition. Dual chrome sport mirrors. New rear bumper. Newer front bumper with a few minor discoloration spots. Some stainless has been replaced, and some is original and been repolished. All brightwork is in excellent condition. Original door handles are in good shape. Original grille has been repainted. Gaps and fitment on all panels are very good. Paint has been buffed to a mirror gloss.
Factory 302 Cu. In. engine with 2 barrell carburetor. Engine and engine bay have been detailed and are in stock configuration. Stock intake and exhaust manifolds. New Flowmaster exhaust with Flowmaster custom tips. Factory Air Conditioning. Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes. FMX automatic transmission. 3.00:1 rear differential for highway cruising. New shocks. Undercarriage is clean and solid, but is not detailed.
Factory White vinyl bucket interior. Seats and cushions, carpet, headliner, door panels, etc. all in excellent shape. Ford logo embroidered in the two front seat backs and also in the headliner. New dash pad. All gauge faces are clear. Mini console with Mustang T handle shifter. Factory sport wheel. Factory AM radio. All seals, jam seals, and weatherstripping were replaced when the car was refinished. Factory AM radio. Head lights, tail lights, signals, horn, etc. all work. Even the key buzzer still works.Trunk is clean and Black. New trunk seal.
